Radishes: First Harvest for the 2014 Growing Season
We just pulled our first radishes out the garden this afternoon!!!
Yummy. These are cherry belle radishes from Territorial Seeds. They have a mild flavor, sweeter and less spicy than other radish varieties.
The littles were quite pleased to pull a couple up for themselves. What a satisfying thing to pick. You get a whole handful of greenery with a bright red ball at the end. They come out easily and you get the satisfaction of pulling out the whole thing without having to delicately select the ripe parts, much easier for little hands.
